KLVB PAST LITTER EVENT
Fall Clean Up Days
- KLVB had a group litter pick up on October 12,2024 and there were 64 volunteers working a total of 144 hours to pick up 13 miles of our streets. A Total of 2121 pounds of trash was picked up, approximately 72 large 30 gallon bags of trash. Thank you to all who came out to help. Next group litter pick up will be for the Primavera Bike Race in March so watch out for that post.
Our Mission
At Keep Lago Vista Beautiful, our mission is to provide volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups to give back to their communities and make a positive impact.
This past Sat. at the Green Space between City Hall and the Library, the Friends of the Library, the High School Science Environment Class and KLVB cleaned up the new section of the trail, that was installed by LV Contractors in that space and this groups will be adding mulch this coming Sat.Oct. 23
KLVB had a great time at the Police National Night Out. It was a wonderful event sponced by our local Lago Vista Police dept. and they did a great job. We hope more folks will come out next year to this event and make it even bigger than this year. KLVB passed out Bluebonnet seeds.
KLVB would like to give a big thank you to the folks who stopped at our booth at Brews and Balloons. And especially to the kiddos who took the pledge to pick up trash and not litter.
