Lago Vista Women's Club donated 5 Red Bud trees.
A Holly tree was donated by the Jane and Ernie Corber family. This is just a part of the great family who wanted to celebrate the life of their ancestors.

If you have driven down Dawn Drive this past months and have noticed new tress on the median these are the folks to give thanks to for their generous donations. KLVB donated two Chinese Pistache and two Maple trees. Also we want to thank the Cruz Landscapers for the great price and job they did planting the trees. And EMCO Rentals for helping us get the drip system installed. We believe these trees will add beauty on Dawn Drive for many to enjoy in years to come.
Many Thanks to the LeBlanc family who donated a Magnolia Tree. This tree was “planted in memory of Chelsey LeBlanc 1987-2019”.
So today I was up working at Bowden Point and found these hard working ladies who clean homes and office buildings taking their lunch break at the picnic table that KLVB purchased with a grant we were awarded from the Lago Vista Women’s Club. They told me they call Bowden Point “Park of Love”. They said they are so happy we provided such a nice addition for them to use. This is just one think KLVB does for keep Lago Beautiful and providing places for our community to enjoy.
Are you tired of deer munching on your newly planted garden? Whether it's delicate shoots or fresh growth, these unwelcome visitors can wreak havoc on your carefully tended plants. But fear not, there's a simple and effective solution: homemade deer repellent.
We recommend spraying the following homemade deer repellent for at least 3 weeks on newly planted items every three days. If it rains or if you water, you must spray again. Also, in the spring, spray new growth to keep deer from eating the delicate new growth.

Instructions:
The pungent odor of garlic and eggs combined with the soapy water creates a repellent scent that deer find unappealing. While harmless to plants and humans, it effectively deters deer from grazing on your garden.
By following these simple steps, you can protect your garden from deer damage and enjoy a flourishing landscape all season long. Say goodbye to unwanted nibbling and hello to a thriving garden!
